1. How do I turn on the night vision (infrared) feature?
FIRMWARE VERSION: Before 11-15-2004
Under "Configuration > GPIO", check both "Enable and "Automatically".
If you wish to turn off night vision, uncheck "Enable".
FIRMWARE VERSION: 11-15-2004 or after
Under "Configuration > GPIO > IR Lamp", check "Automatic" or "Trigger".
If you wish to turn off night vision, do not check either of the boxes.
2. How do I update the firmware on my camera?
Please download the latest firmware from:
http://www.acceasy.com/downloads.html
To update the firmware, go to
"Configuration > System". At the bottom of the page, you'll see:

Click on "Firmware Update".
Hit "Browse" and choose the firmware bin file that you downloaded.

Then hit
"Upload".

Wait for the camera to update the firmware. It will reset itself
in 60 seconds.
*The camera will be reset to factory default
after the firmware upgrade. Top
3. How do I check the version of my firmware?
Under "Configuration > Settings", the version of the firmware is shown at the
top where it says "Server Version".

4. How do I reset the camera?
To reset the camera, press and hold the button in the hole for 10 seconds with
the power on.

5. What is the camera's default IP?
169.254.1.13 Top
6. Can this camera be used for outdoors?
This camera is made for indoors but can also be used outdoors. However, since
this camera is not weather/water proof, we recommend placing it under a
sheltered area.

7. How do I enable ActiveX so I can view the camera?
For Internet Explorer, go to "Tools > Internet Options > Security".

Click on
the "Custom Level" button near the bottom of the window.

Under ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins, change all Disabled to
Prompt. Re-enter the camera link into your browser again to view the
camera.

8. Motion detection feature freezes my camera. What should I do?
Please set a higher interval when sending email or FTP.
